My name is Luiz de Aquino, I am from Rio, born and raised in Rio, and I graduated in Philosophy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
Enthusiastic about the History of Brazil, I worked for 15 years as a book seller, before deciding that making a living from tourism would be the best way to combine my passion for my city with an exciting and challenging job!
At the 2016 Olympics, I was a driver-guide for the Bangladesh delegation and, since then, I have dedicated myself to historical and cultural tourism in Rio de Janeiro.

Excellent guide to Rio de Janeiro
Luiz has a deep knowledge of the history of Rio de Janeiro (and Brazil). With him we visited the Botanical Garden, the historic center and Corcovado. Quickly and clearly, he explained to us the most important aspects of the city's formation from geographic, urban, architectural and artistic points of view. Not to mention your unfailing good humor and patience!
